Melanie teaches voice lessons to singers of all ages, from beginners to professionals, across multiple genres. With over 15 years of teaching experience in university classrooms, music & dance studios, talent agencies, and her own private studio, Melanie loves to meet students where they are and work together with them to achieve their singing and performing goals.

Melanie holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Mobile and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Melanie’s students perform in international touring bands, professional opera companies, award-winning choirs, major music festivals, touring theatre productions, major theme parks, and more. Some have gone on to become university music majors, music teachers and professors. Many have performed lead roles in musical theatre productions or started their own bands. Melanie trains strong solo singers who can hold their own on stage and in the recording studio.
